After I watch Amazing Race..I really dreaming someday I can go to a lot of places like that. But, what confuse me is there area too many choices out there. I don't have money in save like Uncle Scrooge at Donald Duck. So, mylotters, can you tell me the best place you ever visited? What to do there? example: diving at carribean sea, bungee jumping at Bali, etc. I really need some advice here. I'll put your recommendation on my logbook, so if I have enough money someday I will visit your recommended place. I can do it!!!!!!!!! Thanks pal!

The best trip I did was to Central America. I went to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Wow! I had an adventure with all the climbing of the old Mayan temples deep in the beautiful jungle. The view over the stunning landscape with tall green trees and wildlife like monkeys and brightly colored parrots was lovely. Watching sunrise meant an interesting walk through the jungle hearing it all come alive with all the animal noises. I went to a lovely island called Caye Caulker in Belize. It was a relaxing place to spend a few days going out on fun snorkeling expeditions. I loved seeing the friendly sting rays basking in shallow water in the warm sunshine. I so enjoyed swimming with the surprisingly gentle nurse sharks. I took a boat trip out to see the protected manatees. This was a special experience and it was lovely to see the superb conservation efforts of the local people. I stayed in a tree house called Parrot Nest. It was amazing to go on a day trip from there to an exiting cave. It involved a walk including crossing a few small rivers then it was a case of putting on a crash helmet with a light on top of it and swimming into the cave. Much climbing done and it was challenging when we walked without shoes to avoid damaging the Mayan pottery inside. I will never forget that amazing day.

So it's one way trip or you have to go there separately? The places you mentioned are very enchanting. Really make me want to go there. I will take note. We can go there together if i have my money then? hehehehe... Pls add me as friend. Who knows we can be trip partner?! I love challenge so much but haven't got many chance to feel it. But it will be long time from now. I still 22 years old. Gotta find my money! :)

I have two favourite things that I have done so far in my travels. Flying over volcano's in Hawaii - breath taking landscape and a great view of the surrounding areas. A three hour pamper package in Bali, at the Green Garden Hotel. It includes a sauna and spa, foot wash, foot massage, total body scrub and massage ending with a warm rose bath. Magical!

I'm from Australia. So Bali is certainly one of the closest overseas destinations from there, though of course the money factor always comes into it. I do plan to go back again though - there's a lot I didn't get a chance to see and do the first time I was there.

maybe sometime we can go there together. It's only 1 hour flight from surabaya (my home). Let's do bungee jumping, jetskiing, banana boat, go to waterbom, etc. Nice place indeed.

No...no...no...I don't think climbing mountain is the kind of challenge I like. It's cold and threatening. not a choice. Thanks for the comment though. Singapore? If i like to go shopping I don't have to go there. hahahaha....Indonesia is enough to spend a lot of money shopping. I'm a shopping freaks. Try to stop it thought, not healthy for my savings. :P

If you want challenge, adventure, culture and amazing views - then visit Nepal. It's a small country just below China, and it is where the Himalaya mountain range is. You can go on a walking tour with a guide and go and visit Everest, maybe even climb up Everest (if you are really really really healthy!!!)
