Do you wrap things you buy as gifts as soon as you get them or do you let them sit around for a while and wrap them right before you have to give them to the person?

No, I wrap them up as soon as I get them home.. Coz I have a habit of doing things at the last moment, but I don't like to delay wrapping gifts to the last moment, as there are chances that I may mess it up.. So, I wrap them as soon as possible as I get them home...

So do I. I just went through my list and out of 25 people, I've gotten 16 people done, and at least 1 thing for the other 9.

I try to wrap things as soon as I get them because otherwise the kids will find them and spoil the surprise. My mom is really bad about buying gifts and then leaving them out, don't think I have ever gotten a gift from her that was a suprise when I unwrapped it. And I never went looking for my gifts either, she would always just leave them around. Once she went shopping for my graduation in my car and then left the gift in the trunk. I found it later that week but didn't say anything. Eventually she remembered to pull it out and then wrapped it up.

Exactly! My brother almost did that two weeks ago. He almost saw the Nintendo Wii I got him.

For Christmas presents, I would first buy usually by bulk, the items as gifts. I would collect them and bring them home and let them sit around in a corner of my house. Then I still shop for more. If I have everything and have bought everyone on my list then I plan on which day to wrap all my gifts. Usually it will take me about two days to wrap all the gifts.

I'd be afraid of people seeing what I got them if I did that.

I don't think it is necessary to wrap gifts because it is a kind of waste. I don't want to waste the paper because it is harmful for our environment and we have to do something good for our planet. I think it's OK to just hand over the gift to my friends directly because sooner they will just open it.

Really? Most people I know burn the paper or do something better with it, it never goes to waste.

Oh no I have to wait to wrap gifts as I like to find the perfect wrapping paper. My Xmas gifts are all matching they have got to be in the same colour scheme as my tree so the gifts and tree match and I let my family know so they can match it too (they think I'm mad!). I just love wrapping, my other half says I should get a job in wrapping gifts as I do it really well. There is nothing better than getting a gift that is perfectly wrapped then the gift inside that's a bonus.

Sometimes I wrap them right away, especially if I have time, because I hate rushing around at the last minute doing that sort of thing. It's just a pain. Around Christmas, I try to wrap the gifts or what not as soon as possible, that way no one can really snoop, and that way, I'm not rushing around during the early hours of Christmas morning finishing up with gifts. It's just too difficult.

I would let them sit around for a while for me to have a good look at the gift I am going to buy to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it before it is wrapped. Because I want my gift to my friend perfect in quality before it is presented to him or her to make my friend happy for it.

If I really need the gift to be wrapped I immediately wrap it but, if dont I just let it sit around and wrap it the last minute.

I'm always afraid someone will see what I got them if I don't wrap it right away.
