Is there anyone left out there who doesnt drink alcohol?

I do drink but only socially .. which isnt often as i hardly go out, I do know people who cant go a day without a drink.... and to see them in that state is awful i think like anything if you only have a little then its fine!

I have a male friend who doesn't drink at all because of the same reason you dont. He still goes out and parties only with pop or water. The best part about it is he is the first one out on the dance floor and you would think he was the drunkest one out there! LOL

Good for you that you dont drink..i also dont drink due to my religion.Those who drink love to make their mind swirl..ahha

Well I am 29. I rarely drink I don't really like to drink. I do go out with friends but I usually have a soda. I guess it is a part of a control issue and the fact that some of my friends are a bit overboard so I like to be the sober one to make sure everyone gets home.

I'm 25 as well and do not drink at all. I do not see the point in it. Like the bar for example it's a total waste of money. I much rather spend my money on others things that getting tanked. And do more constructive things with my time than drinking.

I just turned 21 on October 9th. As my birthday was getting closer people kept "reminding" me that I am suppose to get trashed for it, and that they want to hold back my hair. My birthday came and went, and it didn't happen. I don't mind it sometimes, but eh. It's almost like I got all my drinking out before I turned 21. Mandy, could it be that you are worried about "loosing control" of yourself, so you can't bear to let go...? Are you always aware and worried about what you appear like to other people? I salute your non drinking as long as it doesn't stem from control issues. ;)

drinking alchocol is not a regular drink or food of every one . only selected people or selective group of persons who have fallen in to the addict of this type of drinking normally consume . there are nearly 95% to 88% of persons in this universe who never smell drinks

Yes I dont drink and I know many who dont here in INDIA.May be its not kind of show off here or any other reason. But thats true.

i dont drinj because ima christian but i also dont drink because i dont want health problems later on either!!!!

...Of course there's a lot of them. I know there's still people who were very conscious with their health.

I do drink at the parties or at some occasions. However, it is very rare-not even once in 10-12 months. I should congratulate you that you have kept yourself away from drinking. I believe that drinking at some specially occasions is not bad thing. However, as rightly stated by you, one should not lose control over oneself after drinking. It is like this : "Till the time your are drinking alchohol it is okay, but it is not okay if at the end the Alchohol drinks you out."
