Have you heard of Essure? I just found about this. It is an alternative method of birth control that is permanent. It seems really interesting in that all it is, is a spring that is inserted into the fallopian tubes and the tissue from the uterus grows around and basically clogs the fallopian tubes so that no eggs are allowed to escape. It is completely hormone free as well as permanent. Their website is http://www.essure.com What do you think about this? I think that is a pretty neat procedure and seems to be pretty effective!

oh ok...didn't notice the past about that it is permanent. I suppose that if you dont plan on having kids in the future than it wouldnt matter...

I don't think I would trust this at all. Sounds unhealthy and sounds like there could be permanent damage done especially for people who want to have children in the future. I woudl have to do a lot of research before trying this out and even than I dont think I would use it. What if the spring becomes detached or scrapes something? Doesn't sound right to me.
