a call or an sms

Which one do you prefer-a call or an sms.I prefer to call because here the call rates are lower than sms.But the advantage of the sms is that even if the mobile is switched off it will be delivered when the phone is switched on.But some companies are providing special service like the sms in respect of calls also.What is your preference?

I prefer sending sms, one becoz of the same reason specified by u and second that they are free in my case.. So, I don't really mind sending even more than one msg if the 1st one was not delivered.. Calling rates in my country all also very cheap, much cheaper than landlines, but still I prefer sending sms, as they are faster...

I prefer to call a person then to send a sms to him. I feel to call a person is very much easier than to key in text. In certain occasion when I feel reluctant to talk to a person then I will only send text to him. For information involving complicated numbers or some sorts like that I then prefer to send by sms. It’s nice to send sms like greeting or congratulation as well. In our system here sms is very much cheaper that to make a call.

just the reverse here call cost is higher than sms almost ten times higher

With me, i prefer sms. I like to send sms then call. Also much cheaper ^_^;;
I live in different country with my family and friends. I call them only sometimes. So, i prefer send SMS or e-mail.

you better carry a satellite phone.You can go wherever and cut down the call costs[ha ha]
