I have been disabled for awhile now and am fighting social security to get some help so I have been sitting home and trying to make a little extra money on the web for a few years now. I have noticed here on mylot that the people who are disabled have the highest ratings. maybe it's because we are home all the time and have the time to put into this.

I have somewhat similar problem. Due to health problems I decided to leave my job. Now I am at home for the full time. I do earn by teaching children at home but at the same time I am trying to earn something on internet. Wish you all the best.
By the way if you have some good ideas about earning through internet, please let me know.
I believe that one good way to do so is helping eachother by signing up to different programms.
What is your idea about it? If you feel so please send pm to me. I feel that we can be helpful to eachother. Regards.

I do a program which is a tickerbar that sits on the top or bottom of the computer screen. No cost to join. The pay is very minimal but if you are online anyway you will be paid. I have received checks so they are legitimate. Thought I might forward this information if you're looking for a way to make a little bit of extra money. The link is on my profile page if you would like to take a look.

I've been on disability for over 7 years and just a few months ago I got a part time job at a nearby store. I only work 2 days a week 4 hours a day. I consider myself very lucky because I didn't have to fight ss the way most people do.

Well I made my mistake by not applying while I was in the hospital numerous times. I waited until I was absolutely sure I couldn't work full time. I tried and tried I'm just not able. My ex who lives with me has gotten his already I applied for him while he was in the hospital he is trying to find work through a state run rehab program. He can make up to $800 a month and they won't take his check if he finds something. My attorney just won a case against social security in the state where I originally applied because they never should have denied me. I have to appear before another judge next month. so........here's hoping.

If you don't mind my asking what do you do to earn money online? I am trying to spend as little of my own money as possible. I only belong to one program where I pay anything.

I'm home and disabled, but I'm also still doing the books, taxes and billing for our business... until he retires, SOON! I usually take an hour out of every 3-4 hours and clear out the in-box, then move on to something else. Even that hour is broken up, because I can't sit for long... I'm more comfortable standing!

I'm trying now to get some other commitments taken care of so that I can finish my inventory and get my etsy shop going... after this weekend I'll be collaging and binding a few small journals to go with the cards I'm doing. I would like to open before Christmas with a good supply of one-of-a-kind items... if my body goes along with the program! I have my worktable elevated by 8 inches to take the strain off of my back, and it is helping...

I wish you best of luck on getting your benifits for social security. At this time I am working from my home as I am a manager of some rental propertys and I take care of things while my landlords are on the road with their jobs, they haul camping trailers for a living. And I make what money I get off of the internet also.

Well if you are in the US go to www.workplacelikehome.com and register there are lots of things you can do working from home and you don't have to pay anything to start except maybe a 30 dollar background check fee other than that it's great. Most of the jobs are customer service for companies, and inbound sales, and outbound sales. Hope you find something that works for you.

I hope it's not just another gimmick believe me I've seen em all. I can't imagine what I would need a back ground check for I will check out the site anyway though.

Hi seahorse4445! I am working from home and I accept orders for souvenier items for wedding, birthdays and special occasions. It's not doing as much as before because I guess due to our poor economy. I try to earn here even just a little in the inetrnet but so far, only mylot has been the only good paying site I found. Take care and hoping that you will soon have your social security insurance or pension. Have a nice day and more blessings to you.

hi friend. i worked outside home in a place 50 kilometers from my home so i usually go home after 5 days straight of work and just spend 2 days at home. when im at home this is the only time that i come here in mylot and join the rest of the mylotters here. yes i guess your right mylot give a chance to earn for disabled guy who work at home or working online. and i agree also that ratings of people who spend more time here a lot is higher than those who dont come here often.

No I don't have a job outside at this time. Only try to make little money and have fun with internet at this time. Since I have two little kids who still need fully attention from me. I'm just an ordinary mother and wife.
