Do you believe in FASTING?

some people feel that fasting is an easiest way to connect god. people also believe that fasting makes them spritual and special. I personlly feels that fasting does not make any difference to God. as god loves all impartially. what do u think?

Does God really care? - resurection of God
I remember fasting when I was young and my parents had me very much into our catholic religion. We also couldn't eat meat on Friday. I don't think God cares if we fast or that it makes us any more spiritual or special to him.

Yes,i believe in fasting.By fasting we can purify both our mind and body.Connecting fasting to God depends on individuals belief and faith.

yes bhaskar. God loves us so much. but fasting has nothing to do about God. it is about us. it is a sign that we love God and we want to seek Him and we want to know Him more and we will not let out hunger hinder us from knowing Him.

i think fasting was invented for people to have better understanding of themseves and to not to be live on by the demands of the body. so it is something which helps us get more spiritual. and usually we connect spirittuality with God, so no doubt many people see fasting in the light that it's something which helps us reach to the God. but yes you are right God doesn't care who keeps fasts or who doesn't. it's more to do with how well you are able to connect to him, the mode is of no importance!:)
