Please keep my friend Kelley in your prayers today.
She is married and has two wonderful young teenaged boys.
She is 40 years old and has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She goes to the doctor today at 4:oo p.m. so they can discuss her options.
I know they have all got to be scared to death.

First of all, I must say that my heart goes out to your friend. I am sure that she is scared but if she believes in God and gives this to Him I believe that she will be healed! I have a friend who's wife just faced a battle with cancer and she now has a great testimony. You can see some of it at www.everydaydriven.com.
Lord, please bless this wonderful lady, Kelley. Lord, we know that your healing hand can be placed upon her and that you will bless her in your own way. Be with her family as they decide what option of treatment she will choose. Bless her and keep her in your hands!! Amen!

thank you for sharing this. I have gone to the website. What a blessing this woman is to those around her. I can really see God using her to help those that might be going through the same thing. With the wide spread use of the internet, I can't imagine the numbers of those she can help.

How is your dad? I somehow missed responding to this conversation and so I'm just now reading this and I feel really badly! Why didn't you e-mail me? You silly girl. Please fill me in and tell me how things are going with you.

this is really strange. I thought I had answered all of these posts more than one month ago, but as I was double checking my list of those discussions not resolved, I found this one. Thanks for your prayers. Kelley is doing a bit better.

My husband's father just finished chemo after they removed a mass from his back that proved to be melanoma. Cancer just devastates families. It knows no race, gender, or financial status quo. scary stuff.

What a terrible thing to go through. Cancer seems to strike nearly every family. I will keep her in my thoughts and I do hope she gets it under control. How long as she known she had it? Did she just now find out?

Well at the time that I wrote this...yes, she had just found out. Now we've been through the surgery and part of her chemo treatments. They had to do radical surgery, but they do think they got it all. No sign of cancer in her lymph nodes.

Will certainly be keeping Kelley and her family in my prayers I can only imagine what they are all going through right now. We know God hears our prayers and will comfort this family.
