Hmm, that is something interesting to ask, but I am not able to help you, since I don't know who create peace logo. hope some other mylotters would answer the question.

Peace logo is one of the most widely-known symbols in the world. In Great Britain, people recognise it as standing for nuclear disarmament – and in particular as the logo of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament while in the United States and the rest of the world, it is known more broadly as the peace symbol. The peace logo was designed in 1958 by Gerald Holtom, who was a professional designer and artist. Gerald Holtom was a graduate of the Royal College of Arts, who showed his preliminary sketches to a small group of people in the Peace News office in North London and to the Direct Action Committee Against Nuclear War, which was one of the several smaller organisations coming together to set up the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament with CND in short.

Thats a very interesting question that I have never thought about, I wonder who did, was it something to do with The Beatles or something to do with peace rallies, I hope someone can enlighten us on this, it is funny how you see things and jusr don't know how they happened, someone should get credit for that sign I think and maybe royalties..hahahahaha

, i like to here peace ward and i do think that peace logo is a symbol to remind us with the right meaning of it, really i dont know what peace mean , coz i missed that ward long time a go but, i think peace could be found only in Isalm!!
