Years ago, after graduating college, my first job was in a broadcastring company. There, I met my first boss ( who was really bossy) and it was a culture shock for me since I wasnt really used to it. Ive been a leader during my school years and I assume boss and leader were the same. But I was wrong. Many years passed, I had had more than 5 bosses.. Now that I am a boss, I wouldnt say I am bossy. I would rather say it in a positive way.. Im a leader. my point is, I was wondering why those previous bosses of mine needs to be bossy when they dont really need to. In order for you to get the respect of your people is not to get bossy. I believe in GOOD EXAMPLE. You need to be the person whom you want them to look upon. Respect begets respect. How about you, have you ever been with a bossy boss before?

I have had one boss who would ask me to do something and then go behind me and tell me in every little detail how she would do it if she were doing the job.
If I did something on my own...even if it needed doing, she would dress me down and tell me how she would have done it.
She was like the big sister telling everyone what to do.
