How To Tell If Your Neighbours are Selling Drugs

How many people out there really no what there neighbours do? Well for me and my girlfriend we figured it out pretty fast when we first moved into our new place here a year ago. See we live in row houses so there's no getting nothing by without your neighbours knowing about it. Heres are situtation. We have known for quite the while that the people next door are selling drugs but don't know what. We kept our noses out of it for the longest time till 3 weeks ago when a hard punding at the door disturbed me when I was sleeping. I thought nothing of it, maybe 1 of the kids forgot their keys but that was'nt the case when I opened the door and saw a 6'5 huge white male stand there sweating. I proceeded to ask him what he wanted. He stated to me he gave some kid money to buy dope in here in the row houses. I told him I didnt care why he was here just to get off my step and leave. This guy started to get very mad telling me that I tryed to rip him off and started getting aggresive with me. I told him once again I had no idea what he was talking about. All he did was turned around and walked to the end of the path in front of my house and turned and started yelling for some kid named "Cory" while never taking his eyes off me or my house. Surprise, surprise when the kid came out of the next door house all scared looking. All because of these people next door now, me and my family feel we are in danger. We have watched the police arrest the neibours at least 6 times in the past 3 months and pulling out guns and growing equipment. Still these people are living here. We dont ahve the money to up and move cause my girlfriend is in community housing here because this is all she can afford. The city of Peterborough which owns these properties don't do anything at all. We have called the cops a number of times and everytime they come they say the same thing "WE CANT DO ANYTHING"! Well who can? Who will be responsible (god forbids) if one of my kids get killed by these crazy people? According to the housing here and police nobody will. We are trapped here for now so we are trying to make the best of it. We have set up video surveliance and are building our own case against the city and the police since theres no point in going after the neibours. There are 3 major warning signs that your neibours are into selling dope we have found and Id like to share them in case anybody else is stuck in this same position. 1. People coming and going constantly at all hours of the night. 2. Look at the people going to the drug houses. Most are ruff looking and will stand out from a crowd. 3. Pay attention to smells. Most meth labs are set up in old houses and apartments. These are the most dangerous since they can blow or catch fire at anytime. If you noticed any of this in your neibourhood try to get on it right away and inform the police with all you know. My worst fear is some night these people next door are going to rip someone off and if they decided to come here to even up with them, me and my family will be in some real danger of getting killed. Just because you have'nt noticed them in your neibourhood does'nt mean they are'nt there. Keep your eyes open and always pay attention to the neibours that move in because you'll never know it till it happens to you! Do you live in an area that is populated by drugs and dealing? How do you fight it it? Do you ignore it?
