Is there anyone here who cans their food? Anything like making jelly, jams, canned tomatoes, canned fruits, pickled vegetables, hot salsa, pickled peppers and so on?
Do you have any good ideas to share? I am looking for something to do with concord grapes besides jelly and juice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Happy posting..

...Ever try freezing them? My sister freezes her grapes and they eat them that way. Personally, I do not care for them this way, but my kids eat them while they are over to her place and like them.
...Peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della

Thanks della, this is one way that I have never tried this. It sounds refreshing, and I think it will make a good snack.

...It does something to the texture when they thaw. They can still be used to make jam and juice.
...Wash them and lay them out in a single layer on a sheet tray to freeze them. Then you can put them into a zip lock or tub and get one or two out as you need them.
...Ever try making home made raisins?

I tried some frozen concord grapes. Those are good. They make a nice snack if you are watching your snacks. They stay frozen long enough to eat a good handful before they start to thaw. I really enjoyed them. Thanks for the idea.
