There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of different types of apples in this world. What is your favorite? I have two, one is the Ambrosia apple, it is a kind of red/gold and is very sweet, not tart at all, and kind of grainy. My 2nd favorite is called a Winter Banana. It is bright yellow and very very crisp but it really does have the taste of a banana. what about you?

I don't really know the names of all the different apples but I do know that my favorite apple to eat is the green sour apples.

Im not too fond of the tart or sour apples, but that could be a granny smith, I think. Thank you for your response.

Yeah there we go. I knew it had something to do with grannies or something like that. I used to eat a lot of the red apples but I don't know right now i'm not too fond of them or it may have to do with the quality of the red ones that they are selling around my house.

My favorite apple is the yellow delicious. I also like the honeycrisp and jonagold apples. I like to cut my apples up into slices when eating them. For a real treat I buy the caramel dipping sauce. That is one of my favorite late night snacks

My mom loves the jonagold, too. Do you like black licorice? If so, try taking a slice of the yellow delicious and putting some penut butter on it. For some reason, it ends up tasting like black liciorice, funny huh?

I have two favorites, also. I love the Gala apple. It is sweet and crisp. It is on the small side and makes a great pie. I also love the Granny Smith apple. It is green and tart. I just love eating that apple in wedges, with a little salt.

Now that is a first, Ive never actually heard of using the granny smith for cooking. I might try that, I usually just use Johnathan or brayburn in my cooking.

I love green apples, particularly Granny Smith apples! I can't recall the name of the other one that I really like, but it's a red apple with hints of gold, and it tastes very good with cheddar cheese. I want to say it's a Fuji apple, but I may be wrong.
