Wasim Akram and Glenn Mcgrath have been the most successful fast bowlers of this era..
Who u think is the best among these two??
I believe its WASIM AKRAM.
Because he played whole career on flat pitches of sub-continent, where there is little help for the fast bowlers. Secondly, he has got the fantastic control and great variations. He can bowl six different bowls in an over.
he can bowl fast yorkers, bouncers, inswingers, outswingers, off-cutters, leg-cutters, slow ones, all with the same action and a short run-up and great control.
what u say??????

with out doubt wasim akram is one of the best ever fastbowlers of all time, the only thing he lacks behing mcgrath is his accuracy and may be a little bit of lack of discipline since he used to bowl lot of wides and no-balls! But over all he was as effective as mcgrath, mcgrath was a very disciplined bowler, we can almost say where he is going to bowl all the time... on and around the offstump in a good length, but wasim had more penitration than mcgrath and you can never say what is comming out of his hands. One thing wasim scores over mcgrath is his charecter, he was a very nice person on and off the filed, i have never seen him going after batsman like macgrath. Mcgrath on the otherhand was nasty...how can we forget all the nasty things he said to sarvan (mcgrath got some thing more nastier from sarvan thats other part of the story) but akram has never been like that and still liked by many people for what ever he does!

Both Wasim and Glenn were fierce competitors, a trait that is so important at the level they've played. I always admired Wasim for his match winning ability both with ball and bat. His inswinger was lethal and with the exception of Andrew Symond, there was no better batsman to watch when in full cry. Glenn on the other hand was the type of bowler who was a match winner and I'm sure any team in the world would have welcomed him into their side. For me, though, Wasim was the better all round cricketer.

Well, its a bit difficult to say. But, I think Wasim Akram had variety in bowling and had taken many crucial wickets. Glen Mcgrath was one of the greatest bowler as well. But, I personally feel Wasim Akram is a bit better bowler as he have everything that a bowler should have. He has got a world record of 502 wickets in one day match, which still remains unbeaten and he can bat a bit as well. And yes, like you said, most of time Akram were bowling in flat tracks and proved to be an effective bowler. I personally think Wasim Akram is the cricketing god and the a bit better compared to the legend Glen Mcgrath.

Glenn Mcgrath is has only good pace and little bit swing and wasim is the king of all bowler. He can ball in six different ways reverse, yorker,in,out swings, bouncer and has good pace so overall Wasim beats Mcgrath....
