I love to work in my garden when I have a stressful day. If you don't have time to "smell the rose" then this is the best way to do it. Being close to nature with vivid color and fresh air make me feel so peacful and calm. Just add some music and you will find your own haven.

Hi there. I have to say, I love gardening, and I think it does have that effect on me, especially if I go outside to do some gardening and Im feeling a little tired, as soon as I touch the greenery or weeds, Im energised and tired no longer exists... But then this works for me, I dont know about anyone else though... Have a good one

Hello back to ya NARDZ, Thank you so much for responding to my blog. I did not think I could find someone shared the interest with me. You are right. I do the same too when I am tired, or stressed or fed up with my everyday life, my garden is where I come to find my haven. You are actually in your own world and the rest of the world is outside the fence of the garden. What kind of flower do you like to plants? or veggies? I love roses the most. Wisteria, daisies or all the flowers are my world. Their colors paint the nature with beautiful hues. I wonder if we don't have flowers on earth or plants, how do we survive? we might look like Martians huh? :)) ( I really don't what they really look like) Do you?:))))

I think it might be, I used to hate gardening, I am not really an outdoor person but lately as it is Spring here in Australia I started tidying up my garden before summer comes and I must admit I have really enjoyed it, I even planted some vegies for the first time....

First of all, ann168, I want to welcome you to MyLot and I really hope that you are enjoying yourself here! Gardening is very enjoyable and also rewarding! I grew up on a farm and so I planted veggies and flowers every year with my Mom and my Grandma. I miss those days as now I live in an apartment in the city and cannot have a garden :( That is why I love going back to the farm when I can so that I can get back to nature!

Hello there, Heavenschild Thank you for your welcome greetings. Yes, I am very happy that I found my blog.com so I can get a chance to meet new people who share the common interest with me. I just shared with Lilac Lady from Australia, my new experience with the DVD of The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra ( you can rent it from Block Buster). You will be surprised how much nature do to us. It is so nice to have your mom and your grandma around . 3 generations in garden planting seeds for new plant, that is a very beautiful picture. beautiful enough to paint, right? I love the morning walk in the garden when you can look at the morning dew reflecting the first rays of the sun on the leaves. Fresh air and quiet moment in the country side make you feel so fulfilled. You are one lucky lady to have a beautiful life in the farm. what kind of veggies you are planting? and flowers? I will share with your more about my gardening experiences the next time we blog. :))
