Do you buy referrals ?

Do you actually spend money buy referrals on the sites you join? (or referral cycles...) Or do you really go and get all of your referrals via advertising? I know I HATE advertising and all that crap so I'd rather go and buy referrals...preferrably not from referral cycles.

I think it is better to have them alone the refferals, I do not think that will ever buy, this is only my opinion
