Downaalice, I am a simple person. As always, I go to church and thank my creator for extending my life. My wife prepares noodles which symbolizes long life in my country. It may be spaghetti or pancit. We also buy a birhtday cake and ice cream so that our kids will enjoy the preparation.

Now this topic reminds me that my birthday is near already.Well, I pretty much spend my birthday the same way every year. We cook food at home and invite friends over or I just celebrate it with my family. Sometimes we go to the beach and celebrate it there. A little swimming and eating and lots of fun. Basically the way I spend is not really that important. It's who I spend it with that really matters.

I prefer to spend it alone in my apartment with no one acknowledging it. I hate my birthday. I hate that you feel like it should be something special and then it ends up being just like any other day. Or I'd like to go do something fun. For my 21st I went to Walt Disney World!
