I think you dont get any points when you start a conversation rather you get points when people respond to your conversation. I've just noted the same time and have come this conclusion. Also if you post 2 answers to a single discussion you dont get the extra point. YOu get only a point when you first respond to a discussion

You do not get Points when you first start a New discussion on here. You only get points when you answer Posts, like I am doing with yours. I find it is Fun doing both on here though. Remember, you do make $$ though when others respond to your Posts.
