Health checkups catch diseases early even cancers - so every one must have health checkup after the age of 35 -40 but how many of us regularly go for them?

Well, I don't. I don't have health insurance either or see the point of paying a lot of money for it.
My health, so far, has been good.
But I lost my faith in doctors. My poor dad always ran to doctors for this, that, and the next thing, but none of those doctors realized that he had lung cancer. By the time they did, the cancer was at Stage IV, too late to do anything, except provide palliative care.
I see it this way. If I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go, period. I don't want to overstay my welcome by opting for resuscitation.

Dear dbhattji, Every year I used get executive check in Apollo clini which is nearer to my house. They charge me Rs.3750/-. I used to have complete check up including heart diseases. Till date except sugar they found no disease with me. You are right. It is better to have health check up after 35 to 40.
