It doesn't look like Kobe will be coming to Dallas. It would be great if he did, but LA wants more than just a trade for one person for Kobe. Dallas just doesn't have the big talent right now that LA wants.
Of course, it has happened before that everyone denied that someone would happen and then they did make the trade.

THIS IS HORRIBLE IF THEY TRADE DIRK FOR KOBE!! I have been born and bred in Dallas for 17 of my 20 years and grew up a Maverick fan. I went through the good the bad and the ugly. I felt sick to my stomach when we lost Nash and follwed by Michael Finley. I have no doubth we would be champions if we still had that veteran leadership on this team. We are gaining experince though. I feel we should have beaten Miami in the championship we just lit it slip from our hands. We have the talent to go far. Mark CUban is making a huge mistake if he lets this happen! Kobe is a one man show. I wouldn't not one of our players for him. Let that spoiled brat go on his way and ride into the sunset far far away form my team!
