Box Elder Bugs are invading the earth!

I swear that these irritating little bugs are literally investing the whole earth! UGH! My house is covered in them and inside is not much better no matter how much bug buster duty I do everyday! They are so annoying and they gross me out when they land on me. The other day I was going to take a drink of my pop and almost swallowed one that had crawled inside it! Talk about gross! It seems that every fall we are invaded by these little creatures and I am sick of it! Does anyone have any ideas for killing off these things and getting them out of my house? I have tried bug sprays in the house but fear using them too much with little kids and a dog running around. I am starting to think that I might have to set off a bug bomb, but I really don't want to have to do that. Thanks in advance for your help. ;-)
