I surely do:P I always keep "ling.pl" (an on-line dictionary) open. It helps me to describe precisely what I want to tell. I guess many of us has this problem that we want to respond to a discussion and we know wat we want to say but we don't know how to do it in english. So do you use a dictionary then or just think of a word on your own?

I usually try to figure out the words on my own but there are times when they just don't come to my mind so I use the dictionary...
Come on, there are times when we can't find the appropiate words in our own languages, so it's not a crime using the dictionary when we talk another language.
Although many would say that with my Certificate in Advanced English I shouldn't be using the dictionary anymore, I sure need it badly sometimes lol.

The biggest thing on mylot is that ppl majority speak correct english, so my native language isn´t english, i´m ok to grammar but not to vocabulary so to express if a i use dictionary i prefer to say that i use a translator. Fortunally i speak my native language very well and correct, so is easy to me take a translator and like people on mylot do not use much abreviations, help us to improve our skills, imagine if anyone here talk internetish, we would learn wrong wrote english words. Thanks to god, this not happen here.

I do not use dictionary as I don't want to write in hard words which cannot attracts the reader. This is a discussion forum. So I always try to post in simple language.

Well, I wanted to anser some question here about fruits in our family lands:P And I didn't know how some fruit was called in english. Now I know the name of a fruit I was thinking of is "gooseberry" but it wan't be possible without a dictionary. I don't think it's a complicated word, I just don't use it too much.

No I dont use it. I prefer writing simple words which needs no dictionary to be referred. I think thats the best way for each of the person who reads my responce.

No I don't need one of those. I will admit to having to use urban dictionary once in a while to look up slang but I hardly think that counts. As for spelling, well my browser has a built in spelling checker so I've very few worries as far as that goes.

Yes, of course.
I'm italian so when I'm posting a response I don't know all the translations from italian to english of the words I want to use to express my opinions.
I also use a dictionary when I read a discussion or a response for the same reason.

Yes, I do use dictonary whenever I feel confused about the spellings. I have to state that I make many mistakes of spellings. My grammer is quite okay but for spellings I have to be very careful or else I may do some very common mistakes. So I have downloaded a dictonary in my computer, so it is easy to varify my spelling very fast.
