Yeah, likewise, I watched this movie on dvd the other day, with my brother. We spent the bulk of the movie doing one of two things: fast-forwarding through all the crap bits, or laughing hysterically at the ridiculous content on the screen.
I was really disappointed by Spiderman 3, especially after the 1 and 2 were both really good movies (especially for comic book adaptations). Spiderman seemed to be doing two things, throughout the film, either crying or lying on his back (after getting his backside kicked by a baddie).
Incidentally, I have heard from people that are into the comic that Venom is Spiderman's main enemy, and he was sparingly used in 3 (although, yes, i believe he will be in 4). And this brings me to another thought: how could the movie do justice to the enemies that Spiderman had; how about Spidey having to fight only one enemy, and thereby actually give the enemy a back-story?
I don't want them to make another one, now.

No, I don't think so. I watched this movie on DVD last week, and I must say, I'm a little dissapointed. That was all not that serious and funny as was "Spiderman 2". Especially, I didn't like the ending at all. Why does Spidey not get his girl?? Pisses me off...lol. Also, I don't see why his friend/antagonist must die. I even disliked some of the heavy action scenes of that movie. No, I didn't really like it. I loved the first sequel "Spiderman 2" - for me the best Spidey ever.

u say that this wasnt the best sequel,but i think u wanted to say that it wasnt worth to spend this much on this movie...
this movie was great when i watched in the theatres...awsome graphics and audio...really great story...and i had tears in my eyes at the climax...it was the best spiderman movie i 've ever watched and i m intending to buy the original dvd of this movie...

Spot on!!! I think the majority of people who didnt like Spidey 3 are not Spiderman comic afficionados..here lies the problem..does the director cater for the masses who dont know Spidey other than the films or does the director pay homage to the comic book series so as not to upset Marvel (Stan Lee )in the comic series Venom does not appear till issue 300 !!!.. before this Spidrman has seen off Green Goblin, Vulture, Kingpin, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter Shocker and loads others too numerous too mention..plus lots of crossovers where Spidey battles with other Marvel villains and heroes... Fantastic Four Hulk etc...i also think any film has to be viewed on the big screen...dvds dont do films justice especially with great SFX like in Spidey 3. Sandman was absolutely awesome..!!!roll on numero quatro!!!

Spider-man 2 was better than Spider-man 3. Watch Spider-man 2 then watch Spider-man 3 and you'll see the difference.

I agree, got all hyped up about seeing it..v disappointed. Why was Venom only in for the last 20 minutes? And the bit where Peter Parker goes all arrogant and is horrible to MJ - I ws embarassed! Spidie 2 is the best.
As comic book films go can't beat Batman Begins but Iron Man looks as though it could be good!
