About WHY I am not on MyLot lately

Dear friends, yesterday I did my best to respond to some of the discussions, but after having posted mine I had to close the computer and go to bed.
I've been struggling with my health in the last week and I thought that I am having a burnout, or something like it, but instead my doctor told me that I am having pneumonia, and am on heavy antibiotic since yesterday. Hopefully I will not be going to stay at the hospital, as I really hate it there.
However, I've had in the last year 2 times pneumonia and it took me months to get rid of the fever and the medicines were not working on me. I stayed at the hospital for 4 months between both times and most of this time I wasn't able to stay awake - too tired and worn down-and-out from the antibiotics dripping in my veins.
Stay sure that I'll be back on MyLot and will reply to as many discussions as possible if I feel at least a bit better.
Thank you my friends for your patience, say a prayer for me if you wish, and happy postings in my absence.

Please expend your energy in getting well, friend.
If I could make you a big pot of chicken soup, I'd be cutting up the veggies right now. Though I can't do that for you, what I can and will do is stop into this thread with a greeting and a warm wish for your speedy recovery each day.
You know how corny 'get well' greetings can be, right? So, to put an end to the slobbering, you can hurry up and get well.
Until tomorrow --

Hi dearie,
I am sorry to hear that. I think, you should take more and more rest and refrain from the things that make you feel exhausted. We will greatly miss you but want you come back refreshed and charged up. So, for the time being just take rest, drink a lot of fluids, do not allow congestion to sit there in your chest and listen to the doctors.
Now this one is for you:
7 secrets of success lying in our room:
1. Roof says: aim high
2. Fan says: be cool
3. Clock says: every minute is precious
4. Mirror says: reflect before you act
5. Window says: see the world
6. Calender says: be updated
7. Door says: push hard to achieve your goals.
GET WELL SOON.

Hey there Fortunes,
How are you my friend? Feeling any better? I sure hope so.
It seems like you've been gone for a longgggg time. Yet, it's only been a month. That's barely enough time to being regaining one's strength from a battle with pneumonia. So, I don't want you to feel rushed, I'm just letting you know that you're in my thoughts. Sending lots of warm & fuzzies your way. And, looking forward to your return.
Be well, friend!

Hey there Fortunes,
Sorry I've gotten side-tracked from my get well greetings to you. A family emergency shattered my happy little world.
Anyway, I don't know if you've been up to logging in at all, but I don't want you to think that we're not anticipating your return.
Hope you're well on the mend, feeling better each day.
Sending lots of warm & fuzzies!

Good morning my Friend. I hope you're feeling better today.
I've been out of touch for the past five days due to a family medical emergency. In that time, I hope that you've been on the mend -- feeling stronger each day.
I know how much pneumonia can knock a body out. So, I'll keep sending a little greeting and a prayer for your speedy recovery. Please don't try to hasten your recovery. It'll take as long as it takes. Just know that when you return we'll be here, overjoyed for your return to bountiful health.

Good morning Fortunes,
I hope this day brings you closer to a full recovery.
I'm not sure how inspiring todays thoughts might be. Yet, it is one of my favorite quotes, from one of my favorite historical figures.
"Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" - Benjamin Franklin
I hope you're getting lots of rest, good food, and plenty of loving, nurturing care.
Feel better, my friend!

Good morning Fortunes.
Hope you're feeling a little better this morning!
Here's a Saturday morning thought to ponder:
"Affliction comes to us all, not to make us sad, but sober; not to make us sorry, but to make us wise; not to make us despondent, but by its darkness to refresh us as the night refreshes the day; not to impoverish, but to enrich us." - Henry Ward Beecher
Warm & Fuzzies heading your way!

A Friday morning thought:
Take rest; a field that has rested gives a bountiful crop.
-Ovid
Hope you're starting to feel a little better today. Remember, it takes time for the body to fall out of balance. Thus, it takes time for the body to return to balance.
Warm wishes & Hugz!

Good morning,
Here's a Thursday morning thought about health:
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly." -- Buddha
Hoping that all of your energies are focused on achieving a very speedy recovery!
Feel Better,
-Ladyluna

Sorry to hear that you have been sick, but glad you got back again to do a few discussions. I can understand where you are coming from as I have not been here very much over the last few months as I also have been very sick but mine is with arthritis and joint replacements, although I have had 6 weeks with the flu, but hopefully God willing I am back to catch up with Mylot discussions and friends. God Bless and a few prayers go your way as well.
