I love flowers so much. I love to go and visit gardens with a lot of flowers in it. I just feel delighted when I am with them. I feel great and beautiful. Of all the flowers, it's tulips and lilies that I love the most. They're such beautiful for me. I even love to combine different colors of each type. I have green lilies in my wedding bouquet although it was a combination of some flowers. How about you do you love flowers? What flower/s that you love the most? Note: I want to upload sample pics but I don't know what's wrong but it says error.

Not really, I think it has a lot to do with my ex always saying, they're just going to die and it's just a waste of money. I think he finally got to me because I don't like flowers much :(.

Daisy Flower - My Favorite Flower
Oh yes I do love flowers too! My favorite flower is the daisy. The meaning of the flower is so neat and it is "Innocence, loyal love, I'll never tell, purity. My husband bought me a few bouquets of daisies before and I loved them! I want to get a tatoo some day of an arrangement of daisies with a ladybug.

Oh gosh, it's been years since I've wanted the tatoo but I haven't found the "right" design yet. I want something that I'll love still when I'm 90, if I get to live that long. lol

I personnaly don't like flowers and don't really like to offer them to other people (like my wife). The reason is quite simple, it does'nt live long enough. It's not that i don't find them beutiful, when they are in a garden,it's ok for me but giving them like at valentine's day or other occasion, it's a waste of time and money. You pay 40 dollars for some rose and they last about a week. I prefer to offer something that last longer and that have more signification. The exception i can make is if the flowers are in a pot but even there in Quebec, the winter are hard and don't always grow back in the spring. Anyway, i think it's too much trouble for the least you get. Have a nice day Pete

I understand your point Pete and I respect it. I know how expensive the flowers can be but in my case if I know that the someone that I will give it with love flower so much, I won't hesitate to buy it. Anyway, I am not going to give him/her everyday with flowers but only on special occasion. That is just my opinion.

Yeah, I'm like you and I would imagine like most people. I love flowers and walled-in gardens. English gardens would probably be my favorite. The ones with a stone wall surrounding them. It can be elaborate or village like. We have a garden in the desert here--a couple of grapevines, lots of roses and then mostly vegetables too. Nothing else really grows here. I would love tulips and daffodils. But oh well.

Wow! I can picture out how beautiful that garden you are talking about. Here in Dallas, TX we have what we called DAllas Arboretum and it's a big garden with small gardens inside...garden weddings are usually held there and the aroma is nice...so beautiful to be there...some small gardens there have small creek or overlooking the lake.

I love all flowers. My favorites are roses and lilies. I just can't seem to grow any flowers since I can't seem to remember to water them.

hehehe...same here...sometimes, I get pissed off because when we were young it's always my brother's plants that will grow longer because he knows how to take care of them and they said he has the hand and the touch for plants. However, mine they did grow but doesn't last long. The next time I'll have a garden, I will be very careful already.

I have not seen tulips as it is not available in India, as far as I know. But I have seen umpty number of pictures of tulips of different colours in movies, tv and magazines.

Hi Buchi! In the Philippines, I am not also aware if we grow tulips there but I saw some Holland tulips in the malls. I love them but they are too expensive there, I guess prices are around $5 and up per stem. Now that I am in the US, I am able to see already tulips garden. They're so beautiful.

I love looking at any kind of flower. Just seeing the profusion of colors or inhaling the sweet scents can lift up my spirits. So I also enjoy being in gardens with a lot of wonderful colors. It's nice to receive flowers from other people too but, call me weird, I don't like it when my husband buys me flowers. Why? Because I don't want him wasting money for temporary things instead of buying something more substantial for our kids. (I can't help thinking "That would have bought us a large can of milk formula!") Last Valentines day though, their office raffled off a huge bouquet of roses and he won. So he brought them home with a huge smile and a quick disclaimer, "Honey, I didn't buy these!"

You put a smile on my face early in the morning writermom. I find your story both cute and sweet. I am also like you right now. Before we got married, I always love to be given flowers and chocolates by my husband but my idea changes now when we get married because I am also thinking that we can save the money instead. Right now, he'll only give me flowers on special occasion unlike before that I want to be given flowers from time to time. I guess, I will more thrifty when we have a baby already. LOL

Hi rochel! I'll find a way to post the pic of my wedding boquet here. It was actually a combination of a couple of flowers and of different colors. I just told the florist that I want a more tropical/exotic look that's why I don't use tulips even if I love it.

I too love flowers, the different scents and colors and sizes are awesome. But I have to say that my absolute favorite flower is the purple lilac. The spring time fragrance and beautiful color brings back childhood memories because my mom brought in lilacs every spring. The only drawback is they don't last long, (on the bush itself,) I could use an extra month of gathering my bouquet to fill my home..:)
