Dr. Pepper vs. Mr Pibb

What are your thoughts. I live in texas and thru my years as a waitress I always knew the people that were from the north becasue they seemed to think that Mr pibb and dr pepper were like the same. This is sooo not true in my opinion, but what about you?

Some fast food restaurants here have dr pepper and some have mr pibb. in my opinion that taste pretty much the same. dr pepper is a name brand,so it obviously has a better taste and better quality, but mr pibb is made to taste like it.
