Have You Ever Flirted Your Way Out Of A Ticket?

Shame on you! Just kidding! Now I'm not saying that I would ever do such a thing but A FRIEND of mine might have gotten away with one. We were making a U-turn on a busy intersection and she cut off a guy who was turning right. To make matters worse there was a sign that said "No U-Turns." Oh well, next thing we know there's an officer flashing his lights. We pull over and my friend smiles really, really pretty. I didn't think he would go for it, but he did. Then he finally says, "Don't I know you from somewhere?" Mmmmm. As it turns out, he did. They went to high school together. Point is: Have you flirted your way out of a ticket or something else perhaps?

I have never been stopped by the police. I know this sounds bizarre but I have been driving for 48 yrs. and have never been issued a ticket or had an accident. (Need to borrow my head so I can knock on wood!) I wouldn't try to flirt my way out of a ticket because it wouldn't get me anywhere unless the officer was my age or older. By the time an officer reaches my age, they are generally retired or no longer working the street beat. A younger "cop" would ignore my smiles, teasing or body language. Wouldn't want the reputation of being an old broad who flirts with the younger gents........lol

Yep, my driving record is perfect. Actually so is my husbands although he had a tiny fender bender when he was 16. I've been driving since I was 13, unlicensed ofcourse. Yep, I know what you mean about smiling or being apologetic to an officer. Sometimes manners go a long way. Flirting is good too. I'm all for it..lol

LOL. That's hilarious. Okay, but listen . . . sometimes flirting is just being friendly (don't snitch to my pastor now). For example, if an officer pulls you over our response to him/her should be "I'm sorry, shouldn't have done that." Know what I mean? I wouldn't call being nice flirting with a teasing body language. Just smile. Or something like that.

No, I have not flirted my way out of a ticket or something else. I try to follow rules with all sincerity and honesty. But Even then if I break a rule I will pay the fine as per the law.

But sometimes it's nice when an officer let's us go without giving us a fine. After all, no one can stay honest on the roads all the time. Well, unless your my mother. LOL.

Hi gtargirl! I've never been able to flirt my way out of a ticket but you've reminded me about an experience I had in southern California on I-5. I was hauling it down to Mission Viego at a cool speed of 80 MPH. I was preoccupied with the song on the stereo and wasn't paying attention to the road. I look to my left and lo and behold there's a police car next to me. I was horrified until he mouthed the words "Slow down." No problem officer (:

Hahaha, well of course. When I was newly married, my husband had lost his right to drive. I was on a sort of motor cycle, but smaller(brommer). I was not allowed to drive on the normal road, for in Holland you have bycycle paths. But, we were lost, my husband (a very big man, little me infront driving) was sitting behind me and we were at the stoplight. It was red, I stopped. My husband panieks;"The police!!!!" I panieked and gave gas! Through the red stoplights. Of course lights and siren behind us, I had to pull over. At that time 18 years old, I take off my helmet and saw the look on the offeriers faces! They were schocked.Little me infront, boots with high heals and then long blond hair! They started laughing and all I could say was; I am so sorry , he is so nervous when I drive, I thought he said it was green, so I drove. But, we are lost can you tell us how to get to Zwolle?" They laughed and told us the way... If I would have been a man, I would have been in big trouble. Went through red and my brommer was to fast. They could have taken it from me. But it was fun, hahaha! Groetjes, take care.
