I would say they watch about 4 hours total of tv a day

Hello and welcome to MyLot, When my kids were younger our tv was always on like 24/7 and even to this day my tv's are on even when I am not at home. I never had a problem with what my kids watched and they grew up just fine and they are not out there killing people, robbing places, or what ever else that some people say that dont let you kid watch this it will twist there minds. I say let them watch what ever.

During the school year they watch tv after school until bedtime and on weekends they can watch as much as they want really..Same with in the summer.... Do they learn anything? Actually ya they do..more so my daughter i think simply because of the types of shows she likes to watch (Animal Planet, History Channel, DIY home stuff etc) but even my son will watch something (fiction like a movie or cartoon etc etc) and often he'll hear something that makes him curious so he'll come ask me or he'll look it up online etc which is great becuase he is learning that way too ya know..
