i was fortunate with my son, he slept more or less all the time right from birth, he only woke up to be fed, changed and bathed. all children are different, so try not to expect your child to be the same as mine, or someone elses. infact, you can't even say that siblings sleep the same.

My oldest didnt start sleeping through the night until he was a few months old (around 4 months)...My daughter slept through the night right from birth..she also slept through my ex and I fighting, the vacumn cleaner, the phone ringin and so on LOL...My littlest one was a preemie so I'm not sure about during his hospital stay but once we got him home at 5 months old he was sleeping through the night

My first son slept through the night at around 3 months old. My second son was good about sleeping all night when he was 3-4 months. But once every night he wakes up and cries. I put his blanket back on him or give him a pillow and he goes back to sleep. The doc said this was normal. He is almost 4 and still does it.

I have two boys and they were both different. Zachary, who is 4 now, started sleeping through the night about 9 months old. Aiden, will be 2 next month, didn't start until about 14 months. Because of that, my husband and I decided that 2 kids will be enough for us. It's hard when they don't sleep through the night at a younger age. Aiden still has certain nights that he wakes up throughout the night.

My son started to sleep through hte night at about 2 months. That was 3 or 4 nights a week though. He started sleeping through the night every night at around 4 months. Some people have told me that that's early, but I don't know.

my kids all slept through the night by two months, my theory is to have two beds, one bed in their room for the night time sleep and the other one in the loungeroom (i used a bassinet)for the daytime sleep. I think the noise difference in the two rooms allowed the child to figure it out quicker, whatever the reason it worked for my 4 kids. Good Luck
