Did you ever think it was easier to invent things centuries ago than now?

Did you ever got annoyed that Alessandro Volta is the first to create a battery, and not you? I usually think that it is harder to find ideas now that many great centuries ago, people were already searching, proving, and publishing ideas. Do you think ideas go out, and a time will come wherein no one can formulate any idea? Please share your views.

I think the word should be DISCOVERY. As it was discovery which could have been easier ago than now. Now a days also there are many inventions coming up. May be good or bad may be famous or soon dieing but inventions are coming up at rapid pace these days also. So yes discovery would have been nuch easier earlier.

Hi!
Now it's internet age, we can find lots of inventions from the patent office. Some of the inventions are from the same ideas. Because inventions are the actual results of the ideas. If you want make a discovery, it's much harder than before. But if want to make an invention, it's much easier than before. Because you can get what you need like things or information much easier than before.
Maybe you can't be sure the invention is just practical. However it takes much shoter time to make a new invention.
So new ideas can be found much more than before thanks to the internet.

No it doesn't bother me I didn't invent something before someone.I think I just don't have brain for such a think like invention, or I rather sa int hing liek Math or chemistry and so...Maybe I would liek to invent something in fashion..But I was thinking about this too, that it might be hard to invent something new if we have so many things already. But all that depend from our fantasy probably, don't think so?
