Do you celebrate the Holy week or is it just an ordinary week for you?

Holy Week is not in the Holy Bible. Good Friday is a doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church which is in their Catechism. Christians in the New Testament did not have holy week, Good Friday, easter Sunday, and others being celebrated by the Catholics. Each religion has its own doctrines and their followers follow; otherwise, they wouldn't be followers. I am a Christian and I follow the Christian religion laid down in the New Testament.

I agree to that totally. Here in the Philippines, the Holy Week is indeed celebrated and a lot of devout Catholics are doing what they usually do like fasting, not eating pork, going to church. Some would even have themselves hurt by doing what Jesus did before (carrying the cross and nailed to the cross). I am not Catholic and we do not celebrate the Holy Week as what the Catholics do but we respect them. As for me, its a great time to think about my past mistakes and plans for the future...

We celebrate Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas, and New Years Day and we also go to Church on Sundays. Usually we do have Christmas holidays and in some places they give the period from Christmas Eve to New Years off, but that is not that common. Our church has services on Good Friday, and Christmas Eve, and if the following holidays are not on Sundays, Christmas and Easter, but Canada does not have a Holy Week.
