Whats your view on Gifting?

Do you give Gifts to your friends or relatives. Is there any special period or circumstances for Gifting such as birthdays, anniversaries etc., Do give gifts without any specific reason i.e, to show your gratitude or love. Who was the last person to whom you have given a Gift.

I regularly give gifts to people during Christmas and birthdays, but I also give gifts without any reason. It's nice to see faces that light up whenever they see simple surprises. I feel much better if I give the gifts anonymously. The weird faces they make after seeing the gifts lifts up my heart! The last person I gave a gift is myself, by buying a book that I really want. If my self can't be considered, then a friend. I left a chocolate bar on her table with a card saying "Smile!".
