Some of you know that my sweet Shar Pei, Meg, passed away in March from cancer and liver failure. She was the love of my life. She was 14 1/2 years old....about the same age in human years as my son. So, obviously, they grew up together. Anyway, I found another picture of her when she was a few years younger, and I wanted to share it with you. I think she looks absolutely adorable in it....but of course, I'm a VERY biased mommy. LOL! Hugs to everyone, and thank you for being my wonderful friends.

I remember Meg and I am so sorry for your loss. It will be a year tomorrow(Friday) since my Charlie passed away. I was just reading my message page again on Charlie's website and I was reminded again of Meg. They will be waiting for us Katlady.

Ok....check the picture attached here. It's a bit bigger than the other one, and I added the color on the edges. I'm still getting used to using my photo software. The original picture was taken with a Polaroid camera...the kind that shoots the photos out right away. I had to scan it to the computer, but I had a hard time figuring all the good stuff out until now. Thanks for the rating on it hon. When I find the rest of the pictures I have, I'll be posting those too. Hugs!

Most beautiful indeed. That's the thing that really sucks when having a pet. When it comes time to put them down or for whatever reason they pass away, it just sucks. In thinking about that however it's no different then having children. Our children can die within minutes or years of being born and if we had to worry about all that we'd never have pets or children. At least you know Meg was well cared for and certainly loved very much and it's the memories that count at this point. OH Katlady listen to me hon, if my Maltese passed away please come get me and ship me away for ever. hehehe Take Care my friend!!!

Aw hun she's beautiful. I have often felt it is good to have pictures of beloved pets, something to hold onto after they have gone.
