To my dear sweet friends here.
I will be going back to respond to all of you on the first, "when you were at your lowest" discussion I started yesterday cuz you ALL are soooo supportive, and that will not go unnoticed:

BUT I wanted to also tell you all, there IS light at the end of the tunnel today. Today was a VERY productive day, YAY me for finding info quickly and responding the way I did. Without going into too much detail, I got a loan extension approval for the car, YAY! And we got some money for the rent, went to a Catholic Charities place. And got a little extra help from family, and told them to use that as my birthday present. I would rather keep my car and apartment, than have anything else in the world right now. Need a home for my son, and don't need evictions and repossessions on my already bad credit!
So there are still a few details to work out, as the apt place, well, they're just jerks...BUT they have to accept the money...so may still have to go to court, but we'll have the money at least.
ALSO I signed up and got my new employee orientation hours in, and also for the client I'm working for, I got those training hours scheduled as well. PAID TRAINING WAHOOOWIE!! (I'm now doin my happy dance.) So we will have a second income VERY shortly here! THANK GOD FOR HIS WONDERFUL BLESSINGS...and thanks to you my friends...for all the support and {{{HUGS}}} that I received. Thanks for your stories, and compassion. Okay, now I'll go to the first discussion and write back to ya'll!

thanks for this update. I've been wondering how things are with you guys. I've been there before as I mentioned in my response, and been working our way back up for a few months now. I'm glad you have got a chance now to do the same. I wish we can do the same here, going to churches for help.

ah, well thank you littlemel!! that's so sweet! we'll see what happens, but i just want this month to end. there is a lot of hope for november, so if we can get thru this, we will be fine later.
well not all churches will help here. this was a charity organization. but i called several and everyone was out of funds. God must have sent us to the right one. i can't beleive how much they could help us. and i hate asking for help cuz there are so many more people out there struggling worse than we are. but we all need help sometimes. have you asked churches for help? or ask them WHERE you CAN go for help? or they just don't do that in canada? and why not then? am so glad things are going better for you as well friend. it's so hard to come back out of a rut sometimes.

I just never heard anyone got help from the church and never asked for help myself. Churches do charity now and then, that's all I know. maybe this is because I don't belong to any church here. I've heard people got help from government, much like food coupon etc I'm not sure what to call it.

First of all I am so glad that things have sorted for as it looks like you have been through a terrible time
Believe me love I know how it feels I really do
When I got divorced in order to keep my House I had to take on all the Debts to so he would not demand any claim on the House well that was ok at the time I was still working
Then I got bullied out of my Job because of my Illness which made me worse to the fact that my Doctor said I will never be able to work again as that is when I started with panic attacks and depressions very bad
So if it would not have been for my Son buying the House we would have lost it and the Story goes on
Sweetie I am just so glad that you are not alone in this and that People have helped you

me too, everyone is so fantastic! i know some of the things you ahve been thru dear gabs. and i can't imagine, especially with the illness, being told i can't work. i mean you do what you have to do to make money, work where you have to work, but if you literally cannot, that is so scary, cuz disability is hard to get on, and the gov't really doesn't help much, so i can see you struggled. thank you for keeping my in your thoughts. i will go check the other discussion too. thank you luv!!

haha that's what i said when i got in the car! i was amazed. thank you for your kind words, prayers and encouragement. and that IS a great start. we'll see by the end of next week how it all pans out, so KEEP praying!! i wouldn't have had the strength to get thru yesterday without all the prayers, so thank you!

I told you it would all work itself out. I never went to a church, but money always seemd to appear. If not a late birthday card, etc. Always something. I'll keep praying all goes well with your new job and training. ((( HUGS )))

money DOES just seem to appear doesn't it...and just what you need, not like thousands at a time (ugh need to win the lottery, don't we ALL), but if you're short a bit somehow you can get it it seems. God only gives us what we need, and we have to strive and work hard if we WANT more, but he'll give us what we NEED somehow! i signed up for all my training times, so it'll help so much to have that extra income. thank you for your prayers and encouragement, and having faith we'd be okay! that helps me so much!!
