Who is your favourite actor or actress and why?

Hello people, as the subject says i am interested to know what everyones favourite actor is and why they are and if you like choose what film you think there best performance was in.
Mine is probably a tie between Adam Sandler and Tom Cruise, Two completely different actors Tom Cruise always plays his roles in his films so good with so much passion and the films he is in are normally really good, Adam Sandler he just makes me laugh all the time he is always in silly films but he plays the idiot so well, its always good to have a laugh.
So thats the reason why they are my favourite actors please discuss the actor/actress you like and why take care bye.

I really like Gerard Butler. He is a great actor, singer and he is very sexy! I just don't think he is given enough exposure and credit as he deserves.
Most people know him from 300, I know him first from Phantom of the Opera. That's when I fell in love with him.
He did an AMAZING job in Shattered! I loved that movie. It never made it too theaters, I don't know why! It was great! =)

Yes Gerard Butler is the lead guy in 300. Have you seen that movie??
Well I also like...Tom Hanks, Christain Bale, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural)...there are just tons I could name that I like watching lol.
Oh, I also like Jennifer Aniston. I think she's great.

I never know 300..I'm sorry for being lame. Is it really good ? I have an online friend that a die hard fans for 300 and of course Gerard Butler. She insisted I should watch 300. Is it really good ? What the story of it ?

Mine is Kevin Spacey. I like that he may not be the sexiest actor but you believe him in every role. I have seen him in dramas,comedies , thrillers and even a musical and he is great in every role. There is a tie for his best role.He was in American Beauty and Usual Suspects.But one of my favorite roles is Jamie in Long Days Journey Into Night.He co starrred with Jack Lemon. I t was great.

My favorite actor is Kevin Spacey and my favorite actress is Drew Barrymore. I've loved Drew since I was a little girl. I think she's beautiful and such a cute actress. SHe's not always been in the best of roles, but she's great and I just love her.
As for Kevin Spacey I think he's brilliant in capturing the roles that he plays. He's so mysterious in real life and he keeps it that way so that he can be convincing in whatever role he plays and he does so well at his roles.
I like Adam Sandler a lot.
Can't say the same for Tom Cruise.

I like Jim Carrey.He is so cool. His range is great in his roles.He can perform from the utterly silly characters to the down to heart-felt roles too.My most favourite film is Liar Liar where he has showed his excellence in comedy and in being a serious dad. I like to watch movies that can make me laugh .And his movies are guaranteed to be rib-tickling.

mel gibson and nicholas cage. mel gibson may have some issues but you have to admit that he is really good as an actor and a director. while nicholas cage is such amazing and his movies are those that you wanted to watch all over again.

It's really impossible for me to pick just one favorite, there are so many good ones. I like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Nicholas Cage, Kevin Costner, Richard Gere, Ben Afleck...there are just too many to name and I like them for different reasons since they play different types of roles. As for actresses, I like Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry among others.

My favorite actors will be Keanu Reeves, Leonardo DiCaprio and Denzel Washington. Keanu always plays with nice motion especially in Matrix. And he plays really good in romantic movie. Leonardo, who can forget this guy ? The beach one of my favorite movie of him and Gangs of New York shows another side of his character in acting. Denzel Washington always have some dignity in his role. Really tempting to watch him over and over again. I like his role in Bone collector, though.

My favourite actor is Al Pacino. The whole world knows that he can be considered as heir to the Greatest Actor ever lived, Marlon Brando. Al is such a great actor who gets involved in the character so intensely and he performs in a beautiful way that one cannot say he is performing but he is being himself.
Robert De Niro is also another actor i really love and he has got such a class in his acting.
