if you want to get referrals ,what will you do

to what i know , someone will go to alot of forums to recommend his or her site
or someone jsut tell his internet friends or real friends
and you?which way do you like best or you get some other method to recommend your site?

The best method for me getting referrals is to get them FREE from getref (see my profile for more info). I have gotten over 400 referrals for several different sites since I have been a member...FREE. Other methods that have worked include creating splash pages, submitting my referral links on MANY different traffic exchanges, and including links in my signatures on forums/emails.
