Just want to clarify if this affective experience you are talking about is short-lived or prolonged?
If it is short-lived, it is an EMOTION. If the experience is taking hours and hours even for the whole day, it could be a MOOD!

Thanks for that clarification
I believed that emotion and mood
is part of that affective experience.
Affect is the synonym of emotion while
mood is an emotional state of duration intermediate
between emotion and a dsipositon.
