Not competent enough to compete with most of the other South East Asia countries. They said they already spent billions of ringgit to improve the infrastructures of broadband but yet not giving every of it users the optimum and most reliable speed. Either it's the monopoly which practiced by the telecommunication industries in Malaysia made the quality of the internet broadband in Malaysia kind of very poor compare to the other South East Asia countries or simply there's a lot of funds being "eaten" up before it handed to the upgrading part. Well, it's all speculations but I hope they will be getting better as fast as possible.

Don't compare to other country. If you really like tat country's broadband connection, why don't you stay there? I'm a Streamyx user too. Over here at my house, I can get good speed. About 90% of a 1.0mbps line. And we have 3 computers connect at the same time. If you're having problem, either your computer got virus or modem hang or modem not compatible with the telekom's equipment or phone line quality no good or other reasons. This is Malaysia. What is there to compare? Is lucky that we've Internet to use. What about those underpriveledged people without Internet? Should they complain too? We are improving but we need time.
