i think you shouls install usb drivere usb 2.0 some time thish driver are not installed that time usb functions shows that you have pluged device is not regognised so try to install usb 2.0 drivers

If some of them work and some dont its most likely the actual USB port it self try pluging something else into it and if still doesnt work then its for sure the port its self. Its a pretty comman thing they do stop working from time to time, on my new computer the front port stoped working along with all the card readers too, had to get it replaced, if it would have only been my USB port I would have just bought a USB hub much cheaper. I would suggest that to you and just plug the hub into one of your working ports good luck!

hello dragan80, I might be thinking that you are using windows 9x version as other version of window desktop automatically detect USB connection as with plug & play feature init. If your usb port is not detecting automatically, then u have to install usb drivers which is easily availble in internet.otherwise, you update your window version as its update brings neccessary driver for usb connection. ^_^swatig
