What is your most extreme/bizarre tip for saving money?

I consider myself very frugal, but by my grandmother's standards, I squander. As a child of the Great Depression, she saves EVERYTHING. While cleaning out her basement, we found a bag of underwires from bras that had long since been gone. She kept them "just in case" (you know, just in case her home was broken into by a large gunman who demanded exactly 27 underwires with or she would be shot immedietly). What is the most bizarre/extreme tip you have heard of/use?
