I want to get more information about raising collie

I bought a cute collie 2 months ago.But now,I can't see her for ever.She died 1 month ago.I loved her very much,and so do my boyfriend.We called her Shadow. My bf took her home because I can't kept her in my dormitory.Then they went home by train.Maybe it's too tired for a collie to stay in the train for 2days.The day after her arrived home,she was ill.From then on,she became worse and worse,and lastly,she died.I was so upset. I want to adopt another collie,and I need more information about it.'cause I hope that this time I can live with her for along time.

I would say wait until you are done with school. If you get one now you arent going to be able to be with it since you said that you can't have them in your dorm. Just wait a year or two until you're settled and have a home where you can keep pets. by the way dogbreedinfo.com has good info on collies.

Thank you for your suggestion.Maybe you are right,I'm not available to keep one now.But,I will still look for a good collie,and raise it by myself.Anyway I want to do something for Shadow.

I would suggest buying a good book about collies. This will give you a good idea how to raise a collie.
