good looking is really so crucial?

it's no doubt that everyone like beauties.somebody said good looking people are much more confident than others. Sometimes a pretty face may bring you some convenience . is appearanc crucial in your job? please share your opinion on this topic.

i totally agree with you that beautiful guys sometimes have more chances than ordinary people especially ugly ones. however, appearance does not mean anything. you may get a better first impression, but whether you are competent depends on your capability but not the outside appearance.
and in my job, appearance is not that crucial. it is not the important one.
