I miss Bishop very, very much. My new friend, a 5m old yellow lab, is helping me by keeping me active. He at the moment has no name. We have been together for about 11 days. I hope very soon to have a name for my new friend.
Bishop would approve of my new fur friend. He is quiet, eager to learn new things, friendly with people and animals, and has a sense of adventure like I do. I am at the moment teaching him the boundries and rules of life as the new service dog for me & my situation. He is a fast eager learner.
I will be glad to have some name suggestions. I prefer a 2 sylable name & no names starting with s. Thank you for the help.

I am taking that you dog friend Bishop passed away, I am sorry to hear of that, I am glad that you have a new friend that is doing really well by the sound of it with his new training. I know a few service dogs and I think they are the best animals in the world. Maybe being that you other dog was named Bishop you could name your new friend Knight. Good Luck in what ever name you choose I am sure that it will suit him. Enjoy your new friend and again welcome to our little community. BIG HUGS!

Hey hoghoney (2065):
Thank you for the hugs & welcome. I have not uploaded any pics of my new canine friend yet. Want to be sure he is going to be healthy & have a good work ethic. The pic I'm using is of Bishop & me. This is the Pic which has been used around the net. I'm not going to discontinue using this pic because Bishop is worth 10 million & many, many people have looked at this pic. Perhaps maybe I will do something different when I'm sure my new friend is here to stay.

Hi, vpbanjo! How about "Buddy"? This is the name I gave to my virtual dog, and he is a Black Lab. I can't have a real dog because I have had a few strokes and can't take care of one. My other virtual dog is an English pug named "Winston". I'll write out other names when I think up of some more. Your new dog looks amazing! I wish I could have a real live one....maybe next year....

Hi Seagoddes28:
Many thanks for visiting. This pic is of Bishop & me. Didn't mean to cause confusion. Sure glad you have a sense of adventure. Great idea obtaining virtual canine friends. There are dogs suitable for people who are allergic as well as dogs who can and do help people who have had strokes. This is one of the reasons I am building dogllar.com so standby & i'll let you know when the pre-launch is going to happen.
Yes, please when you think of more names, let me know. Having names suggested helps me think about them as well as come up with other names. I'll let you & everyone know the name for my new friend. I plan to make the announcement on dogllar.com
