The only time I really run to my window is if I hear something that's bothering me, like people outside talking loudly late at night, or a firetruck pulling into the complex, things like that. I don't just sit by my window and watch though. But I AM a people-watcher sometimes. People are cool. We're all so different, we all walk different, smile different, dress differnet...I like observing, and sometimes learning from watching others.
But some people sit with binoculars, or some LET you know they're watching. In a complex we used to live in, this older gentleman would sit by his window and would holler down at everyone who walked by, "HI", "HEY", "HEY YOU", "NICE DAY EH", "NICE DOGGY", things like that, it was actually cute, that's what he enjoyed doing, BUT he did make some people feel uncomfotable.
So do you like watching people, or do you just stare out your windows, or do you ignore everyone?

The only time I look out my window is when my dogs are freaking out about something. Or when I hear someone in my yard. Otherwise I don't really pay any attention. I moved to this house in July. I've never even seen any of my neighbors besides the ones that did live across the street, and a couple of the neighborhood kids riding their bikes. I only saw the kids because I was outside playing with my son. lol

you know, actually IF i lived in a house i would ignore more as well, unless they were close to the house, like you said in the yard, and if the dogs are barking....that IS a great reason to look out. but in an apt complex there is always SO much going on....can't help but look , make sure no one messes with your car and such!! lol!! i WANT a house SO BADLY!!! lol

Lol no I am not a spy to me I let People get on with their Lifes it has nothing to do with me at all
The only time I will look is if I hear a scream or like you when the Sirenes are going apart from that I stay away and let everyone just get on

good for you! i look a lot, but not sit and stare. but there's so much going on at our apartment complex all the time, and such LOUD people live here, whether they're inside or outside, so i tend to glare at people!! haha!

Sometimes I people watch. However, I'm so far up, no one really can tell what's going on. That, and I never draw attention to myself when I'm doing it either. I generally only do it when I'm bored and when people outside are bothering me. I don't stand there all day though, I barely do it for five minutes at a time anyway.

i don't draw attn to myslef either, i peek thru the blinds, haha! cuz i don't want them to think all i do is look out there, cuz i don't! they're just bugging me at that time, heehee!

Actually i do stare a little when someone else is sitting at their balcony - I have on occasion looked out the window if i have heard noises like someone banging on the neighbors door or something like that, just to make sure they are ok.

yea i do that too, or sometimes when they knock loud, i think it's at my door, so i run to the peep hole!! haha!
