Tutoring at home/online

I work in education as a support worker (for students with dyslexia, etc). It pays well, but the hours often fluctuate, and so I think I need to take on another part time job to supplement my income.
I'm interested in becoming a tutor, because I enjoy working in education, but I don't feel ready to attempt teaching in the classroom yet.
Does anyone have experience working as a tutor from home? I have seen various companies that allow you to tutor on the internet via chat, etc. Does anyone have an opinion on these types of companies? I don't have any teaching qualifications, so I don't know what I'd be able to tutor in, but it's something I'm keen on looking into.
Thanks!

I wish I do have more solutions for you. I am in the education line too. Except I market online education courses. However, it may not really be up to your interest.
You can still check out my website on my profile. Perhaps you'd find something useful.
