People drift from one mood to another throughout the day . Instead of controlling how they feel, they literally surrender control of their emotions. They allow outside factors to decide how they are going to feel. The problem with allowing how you feel is that there are times when you need to feel confident and resourceful in order to get the best out of yourself, but there will be nothing there to trigger those feelings within you. Here is how you can make sure you will come up with new ideas, insights and answers no matter what's going on around you. First, you need to understand the importance of "inner dialogue." Inner dialogue is made up of asking yourself questions but also supplying yourself with answers. The quality of your questions will determine the quality of your answers. The answers you give to your questions literally guide everything you do. The better your questions are, the more successful, resourceful, happy and motivated you will be. Here is an example. Imagine you have trouble getting up early in the morning and you wanted to become an early riser. The typical internal question is, "Why can't I wake up early in the morning?" This will lead to an endless loop of answers---because I am lazy; because I have a nightlife; because I lack the willpower to be an early riser; because I have never been an early riser; because I cannot get to bed early. Another aspect of inner dialogue is presuppositions. If you ask questions that presuppose part of the answers, your answers will reflect that presuppositions. A more resourceful question is, "How can I become an early riser?" Answers to this are: I can go to bed a little earlier; I can talk to early risers and ask how they do it. When you ask a better question, you get better answer. Here is an example, " How can I become an early riser and enjoy it?" An answer would be, " I could do some exercise after work which will help me relax, and reduce my stress and sleep better so I wake up refreshed." Throughout the day one can apply the power of questions and presuppositions. Presuppose that there is an answer perfect for you in every way. If there will be a real challenge for you, ask yourself a resourceful question. Here are some GREAT questions to ask yourself: 1) If my career were perfect, what would it look like? 2) How can I increase my value as an employee and my income? 3) What three things in my life will make me feel
