Typing Program - for Kids

My daughter is disabled, and cannot communicate verbally.
She is learning to sign via makaton, and typing at school.
They have a computer program for her where she inserts the cd into the computer, starts the program, and then does her typing.
I am wondering if there is a typing system I can download for her, and possibly get the school to do as well, so she can be using the same program in all places.

I found this free typing program on the net quite some time ago. As I need to improve my typing, I saved it. I haven't checked it out yet, but you may like to.

Mavis Beacon I think is a great program. It has a lot of games you can play while learning, and you cna always see your progress. I have taught my kids to type using it. I hope this helps :).
