Is Marsman good or bad.

I know these characters from the comics, so I know what the Martian Manhunter is *supposed* to be, but they're playing him a bit differently than he is in the comic books. Do you really want to know, or do you want to be surprised?

While the Martian Manhunter is a good guy in comics, he would be considered a pre-Justice League roster version, before he began adhering to the Laws of Men. While this doesn't necessarily make him evil, the Martian Manhunter has always been, to put it best, an agent of Order. He tends to find Men's laws and practices a little chaotic in nature and more or less before he started as Justice Leaguer, always took precautions in ensuring the safety of his adopted planet(Earth). Some of these even extended to completely rewiring peoples heads/memories to, in the most extreme cases, killing(as he did with Despero in comics once, though they still brought Despero back).

The series isn't really going to how the comic is and they're mixing things around. Essentially, yes, he's meant to be one of the good guys. But remember the Green Arrow looks bad in the beginning as well. It's all about how they think about getting to the common goal. It is possible that Kara's father did do some bad things and the fact that she was asleep for almost 18 years says she's not sure what happened. Both of their intentions are good, but they means could be questionable.

hi... martian manhunter is supposedly one of the good guys in the superman mythology... especially with the Justice League storyline. he is one of the lead superheroe there, with superman at the helm, and the others are batman, wonder woman, green lantern and the flash. well, i just watched the first epi of the seventh season so i still don't know what are the new developments (since 6th season). i think, the airing of the show here is 3 epis behind from the one in US and Canada regions... hehe...

marsman is jon jonnz, he is the original justice league member in comics and in the cartoon series, He is the good guy/ mindreader. Why would smallvilee change his nature? He is a good guy
