Dumbledore is gay!

I read it also..Even though it's only in the movie, it doesn't matter. As long as his character in Harry Potter is very important. And I personally like gays!!

Many people already hate the series due to religious beliefs, this will in fact further their hatred. Myself, now I didn't really act surprised by it. I mean I was not thinking it or anything but it is her book and she can do with what she wants. I like the aunt thing...hehehehe.. But yes even someone who is gay can be a father figure.

Personally, since Dumbledore isn't that big of a character to me in the movies (or the books) it doesn't matter. I think this is merely an attempt to boost her book sales and gain more publicity. Why not come out with this back when they had the Yuletime Ball when there was alot of romance in the air at Hogwarts? Why wait till all the books are done and she's at the 13th hour? The UK is a huge supporter of gay rights so it isn't surprising that she had to toss this in there somewhere but I still think it's nothing more than a publicity stunt. AT PEACE WITHIN

What?!!! They should have gotten that guy who played as Gandalf in Lord of the Rings as replacement to the original Dumbledore if that's the case... Well at least it would've fit and he would look more dignified too rather than the present Dumbledore IMHO.

hi! no matter what is the sexuality of Dumbledore, i still find him as a great person, a good friend, and an excellent leader. for me, as long as the attitude of the person is great, his/her sexuality won't matter at all. :-)
