Is mylot becoming stingy nowadays?

It has been that way for about 6 months now...It used to be great when I first started but you get nothing now..Luckily I am not here for the money though..

I enjoy getting into a discussion and responding back and forth with the people that are talking. Today however I was reading the discussion guidelines and found out something interesting. You get paid when you start a discussion and you get paid for your first response to a discussion, but if you stay in it and respond more than once you don't get paid for any of the other responses you post. That is disappointing because it makes us just keep moving around looking for a discussion worth responding to. It really doesn't make it a discussion at all. Just read and respond and move on. I usually respond back and forth in my favorite discussions even though I don't get paid for them. I like the people and we can get some lively chats going. However as was stated here, most people joined to make a little money and that is exactly what we get -Little money.

that's exactly i feel at now. i just feel mylot only give little earn to us although we already do our best in here. but its not matter enough for me coz i love and enjoy being here. i wish on the future, mylot will able to give more earn to us so we can get better earning in here :) happy posting!!!! :D

You asked, so I'll answer. : ) Mylot DID lower their paying wage quite a bit several months ago. However, in the last two weeks, I have noticed an even lower amount of money being paid. Once I just thought they made a mistake so I asked why the low amount for that particular day. They said they compared my responses to others that were similar, and they paid me according to who's was better. It was the first time I ever thought that they don't pay for every single QUALITY post. Now while I say that, I'm still thankful they pay ANYthing. I could be getting nothing. And while I'm disappointed, the plus side is that every day I get to be in contact with some great mylotters.

May be! However, I do not keep tabs on my cents...I try enjoying my discussions either starting them or replying to them.

I do feel that mylot admin have revised the payment to members..My earning level is very slow provided i respond more and post discussions on daily basis..

Ya I feel the same , I think that there are not lot of active members.

hello balasri, i also feel the same.lately i am finding that i am not earning as much cents as i estimate.because i always calculate it based on my previous earnings.but then i always find it to be less than me. i think when i had joined mylot,i was getting more which even went to 5 cents per discussion.yeah i have experienced it.but since 2-3 months i am feeling it has reduced the amount.i thought that may be my responses are not upto the mark.but when i posted a lengthy response,then also the same thing.so now i have left thinking about it.now i am just a few cents behind to reach my $10 and i am very much excited about the payout as it will be my first one.

hehe yeah i do feel this way, especially this month. earlier in the month i had some time to spare and i had been spending time on mylot to make up for the times that i hadn't for the past few months. i thought that i've responded to quite a number of discussions but oh well, didn't earn that much at all. quite disappointed but it's ok. just gotta be patient hehe.

I cannot say that, becuase i come only like 2 months ago, but many people are saying how great it was before.

i joined just a day 3 days back..on the first day for 3 posts i got .06$...on the second day for 20 posts i got just .06$..i just am not understanding the way they calculate things here..i wud b very very helpful if some1 tells me an approximate number of posts i need to earn $10...
